What to expect

Our bridal alteration process is designed to ensure your dress fits perfectly and meets your expectations. Here’s what you can expect when you bring your gown to us:

Initial Consultation

During your first appointment, we’ll discuss your vision and specific alteration needs. Our expert fitters will evaluate your dress and take detailed measurements to understand exactly what adjustments are required. At this appointment you will receive your exact pricing for your alterations. No surprise add- on charges

First Fitting

After the initial consultation, we take your dress and begin the alteration process. When you return for your second appointment, you’ll try on the dress with the initial alterations made. This fitting allows us to assess the changes and determine if any additional adjustments are needed. This is the fitting that we usually mark your hem at if it has not been marked during the initial consultation. This is an intermediate appointment so the dress will not look like a finished product. Lace will be picked off and seams will be left open.

Final Fitting

In most cases, the third appointment is the final fitting. Here, you’ll try on your dress once more to ensure it fits perfectly. We’ll make any last-minute tweaks to guarantee your gown is flawless and comfortable. These usually can be done on the spot with out in house alterations team.

Throughout this process, our team is dedicated to providing meticulous attention to detail and ensuring your complete satisfaction. Your dream dress will be ready well before your big day, giving you peace of mind and confidence.

Pricing

We believe brides should be fully informed about our pricing, so they know what to expect when they come to us. This transparency not only helps them plan their budget but also provides a basis for comparison with other seamstresses, ensuring they receive the best value for their investment. Custom work adds to cost and depends on the construction and pattern. Bring in inspiration pictures for anything custom    Quotes over email are never exact, we prefer to have brides come in so we can really see what is going on inside the dress.
